Heather Morris, who plays the namesake Brittany on “Glee”, opened up about the arc of Tuesday’s episode, dishing that the glee clubbers rebel against Shuester’s ban on retooling Britney Spears’ hits as they said that’s their homage to her.
“Through a special substance, I go under and have a couple of dream sequences — not only myself, but with Santana [Naya Rivera],” Morris told Australian magazine TV Week. “A lot of it has to do with Will [Matthew Morrison] not allowing us to perform Britney Spears songs, because he doesn’t agree with what kind of entertainer she is, so it’s our fight to do Britney. But it’s not just us doing Britney in show choir; there are other sequences — it’s our homage to her.”

Actually not only “Glee”, but also one Hollywood movie was turned down by Kings of Leon when related producers asked for the license of its music. Do Kings of Leon pursue the pureness of music? They don’t want their music to be fixed on one TV Show or a movie in people’s impression? They reserve the richness of music? Maybe it’s possible.
With everybody from Paul McCartney to Madonna clamoring to get their music on “Glee,” at least one act is refusing to license its music to the TV show.
Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill said that he’s rejected the show’s request to use his music, adding that he’s never watched the series although “apparently everybody loves it.”

‘Glee’ may have been one of the most words recently as it so often hits our eyes. It is the Fox musical-comedy television show, the next season of which will open. According to what show co-creator Ryan Murphy said Tuesday, Britney Spears seems to appear in ‘Glee’. She is going to act in an episode that’s “reverential about her.”
Britney Spears hits such as “… Baby One More Time” and “Toxic” spent years as tabloid fodder for a series of high-profile hospitalizations and erratic behavior such as shaving her head. On “Glee,” singers under anesthesia at the dentist’s office hallucinate about Spears and being like her.
Murphy says the episode will feature Spears’ music and won’t delve into her personal life. He says, “We’re handling Britney with kid gloves.”
